Neighborhood Watch

To contact the Menands Police Department now, call: (518) 463-1681 or 911

Village residents are reminded to not only remove the keys from their unattended vehicles, but also to lock the car itself at all times.  Also any valuables including items such as IPODS, GPS devices, ect. should either be removed from vehicle or at least stored in vehicles’s locked trunk out of plain view.  Some of our neighboring communities surrounding the Village have had an increase in these type of thefts and damage done to vehicles recently.  Forwarded for your information.
Information placed on this page is intended to help keep our neighborhoods safe. This will be accomplished by neighbors looking out for each other and working with the police department to deter criminal activity.

An email address book of residents is being developed by the police department to facilitate the flow of information to citizens participating in our neighborhood watch program.
