The Department of Public works for the Village of Menands is located on Oakland Avenue off Broadway and is lead by Mike Hagmann.

The DPW provides many services to our village residents including trash and recycling removal, road maintenance, as well as assisting in upkeep of the water and sewer systems.

Emergency Work

During the course of the year, the D.P.W. performs various emergency repairs or other work to continue to provide the village and its residents services. To facilitate repairs temporary disruptions in services may occur. Your patience and understanding is appreciated.

In the event of a water emergency information will be available on the D.P.W. and Village websites. To report a problem if no information is posted, or for additional information, please call the village office at 434-2922 during office hours, or the Menands Police at 463-1681.
